Onwards and Downwards Continues

The school holidays seem to bring much temptation for those with kids around.

Why not start them off right and give them the healthy snacks you are having and maybe just have one treat a day after dinner.

It is tricky to stop the little tikes sneaking the "good stuff" though.

Ab Ed your link on the previous onwards and Downwards thread is not working. I have had to come to body and soul to get here. Some may not find us.

I thoght I'd lost you - been away and came back to see my subscribed thread had disappeared. But I've found you all ok.

Well, I got a surprise when I got on the scales yesterday - I had lost 2lb - Not quite sure how as thing have not been easy over the last week so I haven't been keeping a check on what I've been eating. I hope I can get back into it this week.................but we have visitors and that does make it more difficult but I'm going to try.

Ed, Why has my subscription to this thread disappeared from the side of the page? Yet it still shows that I'm subscribed on here - As in it say 'Unsubscribe' and not Subscribe'??
Ok panic over it has reappeared.
Mine has disappeared as well had to do a detour to get here.

For the record, my rate of loss seems to have halved. So at the present rate I'm going to be trying to lose until next summer.
Hi Old geezer how much weight do you want to lose. Just set yourself a small target. I need to practice what I preach as I have not done very well .Got 2st 3lbs off last year but need to get another stone off.I think I have got back on track so will try and keep it up.

Jimjools well done you must be doing something right .Keep it up.
At least 3¼ stone. Reducing the present stone figure would be a heartening start. From previous experience losing 4¼ stone would make the waist measurement much better, but then I appear gaunt and spindly because the body takes fat off where one least wants it to go. So I'll need to accept being a bit rounder than ideal.
