Welcome Sophie I am sure you will get lots of tips from others but my plan is I eat healthily plenty of fish chicken plenty of veg with meals. Don't live on salads at every meal. Always make sure you have breakfast. I keep telling people to have a small glass of unsweetened grapefruit juice in the morning as that works for me. Shop so that you don't run out of ideas...

If any of you are on Facebook and would like more support there is a great group called Diet Momma. I am a member and it is a great help, especially if like me you are following Slimming World, with great recipes and tips. You don't have to be following SW though to join.
Forgot to send a special thank you to Maidup and Marval for pointing me in the direction of this link!
Morning all,

I've lost 1lb this week despite going for a curry last night with my work mates. Oh, and a couple of rum and diet cokes :O))))
Well done Tiggerblue!
Thanks Notafish x
Hey Sophie! Biscuits in the staff room sounds familiar. My problem too!
Well done Tigger. I am going out for family dinner at carvery. Up till now I am saying no Eton Mess but it just jumps out at me.
thats me lost 3 stone since february,i can feel it now and am getting into lots of differant clothes,i am also doing more exercise(swimming twice a week,10 lengths)walking round supermarket instead of scooter,it all helps.
Well done Tigger and Slinky.kate, That is fantastic to have lost 3 stone. Bet you feel marvellous!
Well done to you all. Gosh Slinkey you have really turned your life around. I'll bet you wake up each morning with a big smile on your face.
i am so chuffed, the doctor is so happy with me,diabetes not so high now either, can walk a lot better too, still have a bit to go but i'm not rushing it,will just eat sensibly and no cakes, sweets or crisps.i still love my cheese though but get the low fat one.
Well went to the gym today and (assuming scales I was using before are accurate) have lost 3lbs in past two weeks; am pretty pleased with that and having joined the gym last Thursday am hoping to up the effort a bit exercise wise!
Well done Kate you will certainly feel the difference now.
Well we went to the carvery today but I was good and did not have the eton mess. Had a small piece of caramel shortcake which was very light. Good luck for Wednesday all,
Well done for resisting the eton mess :-)
Good Morning All, Naughty step for me. Yesterday I had lunch at a restuarant that serves only traditional Danish food.....you don't go there and expect to find the type of food we recommend eating and now I am paying the price. I have one more lunch tomorrow and then can get back on track. Oh dear!
As long as you enjoyed your meal out xsticher, you'll be back on track soon.

I've remained the same this week and for similar reasons as you, did not manage to lose anything. We had a lovely weekend out and about at the coast enjoying the sunshine. Inevitably it involved a couple of lunches and evening meals out where the healthy options were extremely limited. I ate carefully during the week, plenty of fruit and vegetables, no fat or bread, and am back to it again now. Onward and downward hopefully!
Morning both. I must think myself lucky by staying the same. I did not have the dreaded Eton Mess on Sunday .Miight have been better if I had instead of boring Cheesecake. Onwards and better result for next week.
Gosh, despite a peak recently and being convinced weight'd be up this Wednesday, it has turned around somehow and I'm ending 1½ lbs down. Very surprised. And I seem to be bucking the trend at the moment. ;-) That said I'm not at home for a few days so will be in less control than normal; so I'm unsure where I'll be next Wednesday, weightwise.
Morning all and thank you Wendilla and Spotit x

I usually weigh myself on Saturdays but I know that I've been bad already this week so I'm dreading it. Went out Friday night for a curry, had family over from Cyprus on Saturday and pigged out on bbq food and choc cake as it was my cousins birthday. Sunday, went to Olympic park and had left over bbq food and various other naughties from the food stalls like waffle with hot toffee sauce. I was busy on Monday and nervous about a visit to the doctors so didn't really care much about what I ate.

Back on track yesterday and hoping to continue on the same track.....! Got the week off work too :o)))
Hello Tigger don't worry I have had weeks like that . I just can't seem to stop myself but like you I come on here have a moan try and help people and get back on track and by coming on here and telling us I am sure you like me will rectify it . ..Having your family over healthy eating is the last thing on your mind and I hope you had a good time with them. Good luck for next weigh in. Hope your tv man comes soon.
