Onwards And Downwards Continues In June 2015

Hello all,
Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.
I hope everyone has been enjoying the small amount of warmer weather we had in the last couple of weeks, I think we are now into the April showers though!
Hopefully, the weather will start to really pick up and the traditional summer barbecues can really get going.
I think this is a great way to eat healthy, lots of salad (without dressing or with low fat if necessary) and plenty of protein, as long as it is cooked all the way through :-)
Here are a couple of bbq recipes which are healthy and remember if it rains you can always just go indoors and cook on the grill:

This looks yummy and you could always chuck in something different if you didn't like the ingredients.

Sometimes no matter how great your meal is if you slather it with a full fat, high salt and sugar sauce you can be in trouble but making your own sauces can be really easy and you don't have to have bbqed the dinner to enjoy extra flavour

This is a healthy version of a basic bbq sauce, it is from an american site so obviously molasses means syrup :-)
and something a little different:

Enjoy!
Don't forget your weekly weigh on Wednesday and remember we don't judge!

Yes well done DTC, and wend.
As for me; 1 lb down this week allegedly. Which is weird as I've not had exactly a light week. Evening out at pub & pizzeria one night on a work's social, and a pub meal Sunday lunchtime. Plus more milk than usual for reasons too complex to state. And yet down ? Shows the previous rise seemed inexplicable.

Well done OG . Maybe your loss is due to eating enough and the weeks you gain you might not be eating the right amount if you understand what I am trying to say . Some weeks I go all out and eat a lot less and I don't lose . Other weeks I eat as normal within reason I don't mean eating crap and I can lose .
If only that were that true wend. Most days I am over the set limit (which I know to be a good one as as few decades ago I joined WW and got a lot of general info at the time). I can not comprehend now how I used to manage to stay within limits. Maybe I was more enthusiastic then and more willing to put up with wanting more yet denying myself it.
