Idon't need to take a quiz cath, I have never wasted money as, since I started earning at 12 with a paper round, it is very hard earned.
It's strange that when I was younger and did'nt splurge on meals out and holidays, clothes, etc, I was 'wasting my youth'. Now, after always saving a bit each month, I have been able to retire early, I am 'lucky'!
76% and proud of it! most of that is just common sense stuff I do as a normal routine.
Only bit I had to 'make up; was the bit about restaurants and hotels never been to either for at least 15 years far too expensive.
Hate Christmas as well , I count the seconds until it's over !
Scrooge is my middle name .
Morrisons has a Christmas promotion where you collecte till recipts of £40 or over for 4 weeks before Christmas then you hand them in and get a £25 vocher. Last year I collected enough dropped till recipts to claim £100 , had to go to 2 diffrent Morrisons when there was a diffrent shift on to claim them mind you !
Years ago there were vouchers in packs of Benson & hedges to claim a bottle of Scotch, you needed 25 vouchers for a bottle. I worked in a pub and collected all the discarded vouchers from the fag packs left at the end of the night when I was cleaning up. I ended up with 4 bottles of Bells whiskey that I sold over the bar at £1 a shot ! over £140 profit from old fag packs. That as pre smoking ban of course .
