Idon't need to take a quiz cath, I have never wasted money as, since I started earning at 12 with a paper round, it is very hard earned.
It's strange that when I was younger and did'nt splurge on meals out and holidays, clothes, etc, I was 'wasting my youth'. Now, after always saving a bit each month, I have been able to retire early, I am 'lucky'!
Is there anybody who doesn't follow the price-reduction assistant around the store?
(I once spent over 2 hours doing that, so that I could stock up my freezer. Can you guess whose freezer packed and defrosted itself the very next day?)
If the current world financial climate wasn't so dire I'd be worried but am rather proud of my 71% in these lean times!
Food NEVER goes to waste though I tend to think of myself as a re-cycler more than thrifty. I even put the aluminium cup from my tea light candles inside a larger tin can so they get re-cycled, as well as putting the small cardboard tag clothing labels into the paper re-cycling bag.
Philtaz no, I do that - every bit of silver paper and foil and paper and tins -- etc - goes in the appropriate recycling bin. We've even got two bins in the living room - recycling, and not.
