Why would a credit agreement not show on my credit file

Good afternoon,

Help is needed, I have an old debt which I am now been chased for, I have requested copy of signed agreement, etc however, they are wanting me to pay for this info which I dont think I should have to pay for, also upon checking my credit file to get more info on this debt, this does not show on my credit file, why or how could this be, does all credit agreements not show on credit file ?? or could this be the reason they are unwilling to send my copys of the agreements etc ?

i still have credit agreements from 2 years ago on my credit file, despite the fact they are done and dusted

I recall that you agree that the debt exists. Is it just the amount you are querying?

thought: did you take it out at another address??

BUT they should provide you with a photocopy of your original agreement IF they want you to pay!
