does anyone know of a good / easy to use accounting system . which you can use for raising invoices & statements but you do not have to link up with stock.

we have been recomended "quick books" but someone says you have to put your stock on (i have also heard of sage)

I've used Quickbooks for years and find it quite easy. You can tailor your account to suit your business, not all carry stock. I do use the stock but don't always have it so it doesn't matter unless you need to keep a tight check on it. Presumably this is stock in goods?
