company debt recovery

a company i have sub contracting for 6 years has lost a large contract and owes me a lot of money! since the contract was lost i have had no work from them and when i chase my debt i just get fobed off with excuses. I would like to know the next legal steps to recover the debt.

I use a firm of Solicitors called Thomas Higgins & Co. of Wallasey on Merseyside. They will send a suitable letter for a very modest cost. If no joy they take it to the next stage ie Court. It is all done on line and over twelve years they have proved very good. In my view you should not want any more work from the debtor just payment of the debt.
