I have noticed around my premium bond certificates are not to be found. I have also had a few £50 pound wins which I never sent back in. How do I go about getting new certificates and is there any chance of claiming my winnings even though one of them is 2 years old? I never really bothered claiming them as I thought I could do it any time in the future.

There is no time limit on claiming prizes. Not sure about getting new certificates. Maybe contact them.
Surely winnings come in the post - you don't have to claim them

Or do you mean you didn't bother to cash the cheque? I'm sure they will replace it with a new one.
Last year a major nationwide search was launched by NS&I (National Savings and Investments) to track down the winners of over 550,000 unclaimed Premium Bond prizes worth over £30 million in total.

Yes I didn't cash the cheque that what I meant.
The cheques expire after six months, but you can apply for a new one.
Looking at a cheque I received this morning for £25, I see it has to be lodged within 3 months.
I lost some certificates. You have to write in for replacements which are free of charge. They take a while to come through and if you have more than one block it can be sent separately and later (which gave me a nice surprise as I had lost track of how many I had in total).
..... and congratulations Sandy Roe.

Dont give up oldexpat. Send the cheques back to NS&I and say they were mislaid or something. They could reissue them.
