Hi, anyone else got one? or is it just me who cant say or do ANYTHING right?? i am begining to think my daughter has gone a bit deaf cos when i (have the bloody cheek to) enter her room to ask what she wants for tea, i get no response, or one of those drop dead looks! Can t for one minute imagine that i was like that with my mum and dad? When i look at gorgeous pictures knocking about when she was 4 or 5 i think ............................... sh*t where did it all go wrong?
Even if your offspring arent like this - can you please LIE just to make me feel its not just me Thanks x

This week she has demanded money down the phone to her father and told him he never gives her anything and his son is the favourite! We're tight because we won't pay for her school holiday although we are not taking the family away this year as we cannot afford it. We should work to fund her lifestyle.
She was offered a job paying 5 per hr for 2 hrs a week and complained it wasnt min wage of 5.50 - she is 14! She is fowl mouthed and vicious.
At least at her age I knew how to apologise after a wobbly!
Grrrr!

We were good enough to pay the holding deposit and first payment on next years ski-ing trip ONLY TO BE INFORMED that shes not really that bothered about going now cos so-and -so arent going and those that are are 'geeks' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well beam me up i couldve throttled her, oh and just for the record she turns into the perfect person immediately she gets out of the car at school and all her mates are waiting for her huh if only they knew! : (
You are SO not alone! LOL
My (now) 14 year old hit puberty early, I'd always said I was dreading it and boy was I right. She is one of the most hormonal teens I have ever met! Horrible to her younger siblings, cheeky and loud with us. slamming doors, yelling and gawd help us the week she's 'on', that is the worst ;)
Thankfully, she's a sensible kid and knows that most of her mood swings are down to her age and hormones, so a lot of the time she will just say 'Leave me alone, I'm cranky' then she'll sit watching tv with the headphones on (even when we're all watching the same thing lol) and we just leave her to it until she's feeling better.
We respect her need for peace, and she respects us enough to apologize for her behavior and be nice for a couple of hours ;)
As for dinner/tea, she eats whatever I make and if there's stuff she doesn't want she leaves it and grabs a snack later.
All in all I'm glad we're going through this stage so that I can (possibly) be better prepared for when my youngest, now 7, gets to that stage.
Now if only I could figure out a way to get the 14 year old to stop wearing MY clothes.......
