why do i get the feeling some ? put pets before kids ! and kids health !...my question is .... why do some so called pet lovers take there dogs to parks were kids play to crap ?...and say they are taken there pets for walks .. when they clearly dont want crap in there own loverly back gardens.....and why pet lovers kick cats out at night so they dont spray in the house BUT can spray up others front and back doors and windows ???......and why so called pet lovers feed there dog and cats with tin pet foods that have 30% horse meat in it ???
and the best for last .... why do pet lovers let there dogs bark all night ... but kids get asbo for just hanging around in groups .talking / and playing about ???.......
kids are made out to be bad !... you take away there freedom .. whats left ??????????????????

As a general rule in any species, it's not cricket to eat your own.

Go and half a chomp at another human and tell the judge it's no different to eating cow/sheep/pig. I'm sure the judge will be most understanding.

China eats dogs. We have dogs as pets. It's just a culture thing. So yes, we could easily kill, prepare, cook and feed to our pets the meat of other dogs/cats. Must agree with Lakitu though, leave your own alone (Don't misconstrue that!)...

Excrement from any animal including humans will cause health problems thats why we have a sewage system.
If you just want to be plain silly then take a good look at your own replys. They are nothing but rants against people you don't know because your having a bad day.
You don't like it because again as seems to be the on going thing with some people you don't like to be disagreed with. Face it there are lots of responsible pet owners on here and if you don't like it take your rants else where and come back only when you can explain what was wrong with my opinion other than it did not agreed with yours.

You came on here, rightly furious that your grandchild was attacked by a dog. I do not disagree with you in the respect that the dog should have been under better supervision etc., however, you attacked all dogs and all dog owners and THAT is the reason this thread has grown to the proportions it has.

You made judgements based on your own anger rather than fact (the horse in the dog food). You have completely ignored any kind of reasonable response to your thread (Leelapops asking where you got your dog food statistics from).

Not all owners will train their dogs to behave in public. Not all owners will pick up dog mess after them. Not everyone kicks cats outside all night. Not all teenagers who hang outside at night get ASBO's.

Final rant would be more appropriate.
I do love my dog and as I pointed out I have 4 dearly loved children of my own. But I respect life in all its forms and I understand that at the end of the day a dog is just that a dog and people train dogs to be what they are. I take the trouble to insure that my dag is not a problem to to others in any way. I agree that some owners don't and there needs to be more done about this problem but the same would reply to people and their kids.
Children are also the product of what their parents make them. You treat a child badly it will behave badly(and I include spoiling them in that). The same can be said of a child.
To say that I care more about my dog than my children is a lie because You don't know me just as you don't know the other people on here.
It is a simple question of respect which, unfortunatly Treb you are lacking.

LOL @ pleb! I haven't heard that for a long time. When I read the last post by trebor, I thought to myself "yeah, this is their last post because the know they're a bit of a ****", I have changed that to pleb. Sums them up just nicely.

The thing is, if they'd come on here and let off steam about that particular dog, the story of what had happened, then they'd have found a lot of support. Slating all and sundry was not the best way.
