We had a baby boy in December & had the opposite prob from you & couldn't agree on a girls name. We had a list of boys including (in no particular order) Daniel, Alexander, Dominic, Matthew but ended up with Elliot. Our wee boy suits it so much & we are very happy with the choice.
All the very best for your new addition.
Tiggs.
My alltime ever favourite boy's name:
Robin
Unfortunately, my husband absolutely hates that name, so we are currently having the same problem you are facing.
Since my surname starts with a J, I don't want his first name starting with a J.
It must not be a French name (my husband would never go for that).
Me being German, and him being American, it should also be a name, that's pronounced similarly in both languages.
So right now, we're thinking of
Connor
Knowing our luck, it will end up being a girl, though...
Bohne - that made me laugh - my other half would not appreciate any son of ours with a Frenh name, but I love the name Sebastien.....
Fortunately, however, although we thought we were being different (and looking at these posts we aren't!) we have decided on Nathan Elliott - and I'm not even trying for a baby yet!! :-)
good luck on your forthcoming arrival whatever it is i hope all is good for you both. I love all the old traditional stuff e.g Harry Fred Billy etc etc but please dont start tinkering with names to get a new one in my littluns school we have a Mathaniel, Natch, Mitchen to name a few thats just boys! good luck again.
