You have posted this in the wrong place really, but you can have it twice. My neighbour's son had it twice several years ago.
It's unusual to get these childhood illnesses twice but it certainly is possible.
I find that hard to believe! Can you really? Are you sure it wasn't a similar virus or perhaps shingles?
I have just done a few searches as I was interested. Apparently you can get it twice but it is extremely rare,so I bet that one of the viruses was something else.
Hi i know many children that have had it twice i believe it can hit a little harder second time round (sorry to say) but isnt as rare as it used to be! Good Luck
It is possible to get chicken pox more than once if the previous outbreak was mild.

A friend of mine has a son who has had the virus three times now, but each time he only had three or four spots.
I've had the chicken poxs 3 times my son twice mother 3 times dad twice were the pox family hee hee you certainlt can have it loads of times
My M-I-L had it twice. But the trouble is there are so many similar viruses I wonder weather it is mis-diagnosed sometimes. My daughter had spots etc after being with infected children but they did not blister just scabbed and healed (not quite classic) so I took her to doc and he said it not cp. Funny she been with loads kids with it since and never had it so I reckon she had it in the first place.,
I also was diagnosed with chicken pox twice.
