Does anyone have any suggestions for my childs 1st birthday. We are vegetarian, and although I have been a vegetarian all my life this is my first childs party.

Punkdaddy, You have solicited replies to the question you posted. You asked for suggestions, not suggestions for vegetarian food. When people have suggested a mixed table they had thoughts for others as well as yourself.

Scarlett and PunkDaddy, the Ed. did intervene, deleting a number of replies, unfortunately they have started again seeing as it's the week end. I would imagine he will intervene again on Monday. This Landie sounds suspiciously like ansteyg I must say. Same nitpicking. Of course it was obvious you were asking about suggestions for vegetarian foods suitable for little fingers. There is no need to serve non-vegetarian food at the party. Even if someone believes their child needs meat, a one-off vegetarian meal will be statistically insignificant to them. I say this as a non-vegetarian who believes their child should eat meat. I also happen to respect other people's choices.
