Big disadvantage is that your parents (if they are alive) are less able to help you out with childcare. My sister had her first at 39 and 2nd at 42, she seems to cope well and I don't think it is too out of the norm nowadays. I was at a neighbours the other day as she was celebtaing her 40th - her son has just turned one. Most of the other people there were either about to turn 40 or already over it and all had small babies of a year or younger - It actually made me feel that I had had mine young!
41 isn't too old to have a baby. But, as you work two jobs, and have two kids already, are you willing to give your work up for the new baby?
If you are, and can afford to, then fairplay. If you're going to ****** off back to work immediately, then I don't think it's fair.
PLUS at the age of 41, how come you aren't mature enough to decide for yourself, whether YOU are ready for another baby, and why feel the need to ask a load of randomers on an internet site?! Surely you should make up your own mind! Grow up.

chimpanzee, how very rude of you.
Perhaps you need to take hed of your own advice and look at some of your questions posted in recent weeks
Taylor, I would go along with the majority of answers on here, as long as you are capable of raising a child and having not only the love but the energy and the finances to provide for a child then I dont see what being 41 has to do with it.
