Hi
I miscarried over the weekend, which was my second within a few months.
Anyway, I went to my GP today and he is referring me to the gynaecology department at the hospital.
Does anyone know what will happen? Will I have tests done?
Thanks.

Hi there natalie7,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your baby,
All the gynaecologist will do is take a look at what is going on down there, they will prob give you a internal scan, take some blood tests,
They are very helpfull people, hope all goes well
Sorry to hear of your loss Natalie. I can't offer you any advice, but hope it all works out for you eventually, don't lose hope.
sorry to hear of your loss natalie, its awful to lose 1 yet alone 2, my heart really goes out to you. The gynaecologist will probably give you a internal examination and perhaps a scan to see if there is a underlying problem. good luck with the future xxx

Thanks to everyone that has replied. I didn't think I would see someone so soon. I thought you had to wait until you had at least 3 miscarriages. Anyway, thanks for the help and hope everything is ok with me. Just got to wait until the 12th June now. x x
So sorry to hear your news Natalie. Yes, you are right, you need to have 3 miscarriages before investigations start. This may sound cruel, as you are looking for a 'reason' for your losses, but it does just show that a couple of miscarriages are actually quite 'normal', and certainly does not mean you will keep on having miscarriages - quite the opposite. Your body does know what to do!

I had 3 miscarriages before having my perfect daughter 2 years ago.

My investigations showed nothing 'suspicious' at all. It happened just after I gave up hope.

Keep strong. It's a very personal grief you are going through right now. Allow yourself a bit of time to grieve.

Good luck in the future! I'm sure your body will get the hang of it soon!
oh natalie I am so sorry you have lost another baby. my thoughts and love are with you at this sad time. xx
