I just told my mum I got a lift with that mam from dogs home to get my covid jab she said be careful with that man he might think you like him one I was on about from dogs home. He took me for dinner afterwards.

Having been in this man's company at kennels, out for dinner, in car, etc., you must know quite a bit about him now?  Does he have family in the area, where does he work, etc.? You must, to a certain extent, feel comfortable in his company?

Mum needs  nursing right now so avoid this man, but don't get into a car with him or accept anything from him, please.

You have to stop saying things to him about boyfriend. Ignore all previous remarks about being a daughter etc. We now 

understand more about this man and it's clear he is not good. For your safety, say no to all future offers
