Maybe so, Abbey...but the cleaning firm also seemed to experience similar difficulties with your work. Do you think all your employers are getting it wrong?

Question Author

If it different to cleaning in McDonald's then maybe not but unsure on warehouse as they replaced me before letting me go.

Question Author

What do I tell the agency they trying to get hold of me

// unsure on warehouse as they replaced me before letting me go//

I don't think that their forward planning changes the fact that they felt you weren't up to the job

Question Author

Everyone else they extend thier probation

Abbey, I know you didn't like it when the warehouse replaced you with a former employee.

If your latest question, about the agency contacting you, is about the Production Administrator job, it depends on whether you're interested in the job, think you could do it, like it etc.  If it's about the school cleaning job, you'll have to decide if you want another part-time job...

Question Author

Yes the school

Thanks, Abbey, if you're happy to have another part-time job (with little in the way of prospects), and think you can live on those wages, then you should take the job.

Question Author

No wouldn't be able to do the 2 and unsure about school as kids are ***

Abbey, if you're at all unsure, you shouldn't take it.

Abbey are you at the laundry this week, and if so how is it going there?

Question Author

Ok probably shouldn't then when I got an interview this week aswell.

Hate it

If the laundry isn't working out because you hate it and will probably leave anyway then take the school cleaning job so you have money coming in.  It is only temporary anyway then you can see what else the agency has for you after that and keep looking for a full time one in the meantime.

When I needed some extra income I signed up with an agency and all the jobs were temporary but could be anything from cleaning, answering phones, packing and several were in catering - mostly washing up and general kitchen porter work.  I could choose which I said yes to and wasn't tied down to any one place, which meant if I didn't like them I didn't have to go back.  Maybe accept the temporary posts for now and see where they take you.

Why don't you try a different type of job altogether? Maybe shelf-filling or packing orders in a supermarket, shop assistant, waitress. Anything but cleaning.

Question Author

That what I want to do packing orders.

Not sure if it's temp

Well you'll never know unless you start asking at supermarkets. Get out there and give it a whirl!

Question Author

You apply online these days very rare apply in store

Well do that tomorrow then.

Abbey, have you applied for any packing jobs in the last year? It seems silly to keep going after jobs that you can't do or don't enjoy.

Question Author

Well you don't know until you try mcdonalds can do don't enjoy.
