What age does CSA stop?
42 Answers
My daughter is still in further education however I have just been informed by CSA that as she has just turned 19 my payment will stop. Does anyone know if this is correct as I have been giving incorrect advise from the CSA on a few occasions previously and am not sure if this is correct?

I pay 25% of my monthly wage and she also gets child benefit and tax credits as well. I have a new partner and she has 2 girls but their dad doesn't work so i'm paying for 5 children. On top of all that I work full time and she only works 3 days per week when she could work 5 days per week and earn more money. It is very biased in the favour in this particular case.
I think the law shoudl give 50% equal responsibility to both parents then negotiate payment if this becomes reduced through mutual consent. Maintenance is an absolute green light for greedy mothers to be able to use the children as a way of supplementing their own lifestyles. My ex and I both work, both have a home to upkeep, both are responsible for our children's welfare so why does the law state that because child benefit is in my name I can claim a percentage of his income (which I don't for the record). Sexual inequality is so prevelant in child support cases. A MESSAGE TO ALL DADS - get the child benefit placed in your name then the greedy females can have no claim ob your income and have to take responsibility for themselves. I am a female, I have two children but I also have two step children who live with us 50% of the time with all costs paid by us and yet because the child benefit is in the mothers name we still have to pay her £500 per month - JOKE.
