Any Dubonnet drinkers?
I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

Still don't feel good so I think I'll go and install myself in the warmest place I can find, which isn't here in this corner. It's going to be a toast and scrambled egg day.
Hope the rest of you feel better/are ok/sunburnt to a frazzle, tut... but for anyone missing the snow (!) this was slightly further north in the Peak district a few days ago...I daresay it hasn't changed much since then, it's there's snow in the air again here

Well they've got twin effigies neti, I ache all over too, 'specially my stiff neck. It feels even colder to me today, I can't get the house warm.
Yes shaney, it looks beautiful but I can't bear to look at those pictures of farmers having to dig sheep out of drifts and newborn lambs dying in it, it's heartbreaking...I think my diet's down to about a dozen thing's that are safe, everything else is Russian (or shouls I say rushin') roulette....

I got so fed up with knowing my bathroom REALLY well I just started taking loperamide regularly for a few days. Its no permanent solution but it got me over a difficult bit.
Anyway we are shopped and clean and there is a hot dinner in the slow cooker all ready, turkey stew with a jacket potato.

Hi all. Lol Neti - that urt!! :) I think I would buy drinking water in those circs. Sorry for all my friends with iffy Tums. I had a couple of days feeling a bit sick at the beginning of this week. I think it was that I'd been stuffing my face with all sorts at the weekend.. I know one thing I'm absolutely P***** of with reading food labels. That's about enough to make me feel sick. Sorry to be in a moaning mood.
I had a good day today at School. I'm happy to say every child in the class has had a read and has changed their books to take home for the holiday. The Class Assistant and me got them all done before they break up tomorrow.
The youngsters actually gave me a lovely bunch of flowers for Easter and to say thankyou for my help. I was really touched. Yellow miniature roses, small yellow tulips, mini daffs I think they are and a blue hyacinth.
Have to go now and iron and get cleaned up. I'm off down south tomorrow until next week. I'm not going til later so I'll call in tomorrow to say hello.

Yes it's not good news for the farmers at all .I think some of these small hill famers struggle as it is without having all that lot dumped on them .
We've been so lucky here snow wise,it's just freezing cold .I can't seem to get warm either in spite of whacking the heating up .
Mr S's old colleague and friend is coming round later so I'll make a few sarnies and they can put the world to rights .
Sainsburys in the morning with my brother .I hope my stomach has settled by then ,I don't want any funny noises near the freezers.
Hope your sister arrives safely Woofy .Have a nice evening lovelies ,try and keep warm . I may try running up and down on the spot or skipping .If it doesn't keep me warm at least it may shift the gripes !

Just served dinner and washed up and no pain anywhere, twas a fleeting twitch, thank heavens. Hope the rest of you get well as quickly.
I served crumbled corn beef, fried onions, and red peppers, layered with sliced pots and cheese sauce and grated cheese, was very nice, serve with a plain salad, just lettuce, onion and tomato with oil and vinegar dressing to take off some of the grease! I then had a strawberry jelly and have put a whiteish wash on overnight on hot, tucked up in bed waiting for Corrie and Marchlands!! We find out tonight who killed the girl! (bet you are all agog!!)

Woofy my whites are dazzling and all pegged out with matching black pegs, all very acceptable! Am washing the front room long curtains now, I just hope they come out OK and do not shrink, my machine has a special 40º curtain wash, so fingers crossed, they usually come out 3" shorter!
Ingreds: corned beef, sliced pots, fried peppers and onions, chedder cheese, cream and margarine (or a cheese sauce , but not so good), pepper.
Easy recipe shaney, I precook sliced potatoes and lay them out of a tea towel to cool off (Mr N does not precook them) I fry sliced onions and chopped red peppers, I use a tin of corned beed as that's all we can get here, and I only use 1/4 of a tin at a time (I freeze the rest and it is fine) Then I layered the crumbled cornbeef (I don't like too much, it's up to you), and onions and peppers, then a layer of pots, then either cheese sauce or grated cheese, cream and dobs of marg, repeat with corned beef etc until you fill the dish and then finish off with cream, marge and grated cheese, I then grill the top and then heat it up when needed. Mr N invented it.
Fiestas here now until Tues, but I guess most shops are open for a while, the Post Office and banks are, of course, closed!!
