Canadian Club Sherry Cask Whiskey
Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...

Good morning all. Yes Robi a dismal day today. I'm off to have my eyes tested after lunch. I have to try and sort my washer out first. I've been struggling with it for a while. Not sure if it's 'grime' in the pipes or actually something with the works. I've only had it about 2 years as well.never mind I'll sort it some how or as a lost resort send for my washer man!

oh dear 14º here, I can't look you in the eyes!
Just spent an hour in the phone shop trying to get my mobile sorted. I went down with all the laws on consumer rights and I spouted it all off, but they were so sweet, they disarmed me, and fiddled about and got it going, then it didn't then it did, now it is, but for sure it won't for long! Said they'd change it on Friday if it still fails.

Damp dismal day here.Says 6C but feels colder .
Hope you're all ok though .
Oh no Jude ,not trouble with your pipes .I had that and the man said it was gunge caused by using liquid wash .
It clings to the pipes and goes slimy. Went back to powder and use soda crystals in every hot wash as our water is very hard .
I pray to the washer god each time I put it on now as it's pushing 15 ,which is quite elderly for a washing machine.

Oh dear, not liquid detergent, I've recently started using that. I thought it was softener that caused slime. My machine's about 13 and I talk to it nicely, even when it seems to have taken forever.
I hate these dismal days, it's barely been light enough to see in the house today.
I see some crocuseses and primulas have opened in the garden and some shrubs have flower/leaf buds ready to go.

What happened to mine was that the pipe where the water goes out was sludged up and the water was backing up back into the machine .It stunk !
He did say that us ladies do tend to use too much powder/liquid and it's not necessary .He advised me to use the soda crystals .He said these liquids and fab soft cling to plastic pipe work ,whereas powder dissolves and is flushed away.
I don't know if he was spinning me a yarn but it was some years ago now that it happened and touch wood I've had no probs since.
I don't use much softener anyway and when I do, I dilute it down .I don't like the sickly smell of some of 'em .
Don't know what I'm going to do when me Dreft runs out . I'm down to three boxes and Amazon haven't got any more ....sob .

Very funny Jno. I remembered the first time I went to France what a difference a loo made!!
Thanks for your help with my washer. I do use those Bold sachets and I can imagine just what they might do to my pipes. I've done one last hot wash and I'll see what happen when its done. When I've washed after a number of hours there is water collected in the bottom of the tub and I have to drain it before I can do any more washing. Another inspection tomorrow.
Anyway my eyes are ok. My left eye's cataract is slightly worse but my right eye is good because that one was done last year. The optometrist sp! said no reason to go to the hospital this time but to go back if it gets worse before Feb next year.
I managed to walk all the way into town today so I'm just lazing now watching telly.

Hija jas just texted telling me that the local lad from here has "escaped" from Dubai as he didn't want to pay the leaving fine to the company as he isn't fullfulling his contract. He was extremely unhappy as his girlfriend joined him over there and then dumped him! Ah well the follies of youth!
Hope Robi is better today.
Do any of you know about the "squat n drop" loos? Had them over here when I first came, not at home luckily, and I couldn't ever get the hang of them, some quite embarrassing tales to be told, but that's another time!
