Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...

woe betide anyone getting a kicking from neti then...

Went to a Do in the middle of a not very impressive impressionist exhibition last night and bumped into an old acquaintance I hadn't seen for yonks - in the middle of a long chat it turned out my mum used to work in the same African hospital as her gran did, during the war... small world.

good morning. This bug is getting boring now. If I do too much, eat the wrong thing I bump back down the ladder again. Things are getting better but its soooooo sloooooooow.
Morning all
Another cold one but it's bright .
Are you still suffering Woofy ? I sympathise ,it takes ages to get rid of .
Definitely a super bug of some sort.Hope you soon feel better.
Hope the rest of you are all ok .
A'noon all. Nice n sunny but bitterly cold.

Not been too good, very dizzy and nauseous, and sleeping for England....my friend over the road's had it so it's probably the Derbyshire version of some bug. Pee'd off doesn't come close. KBO woofy.

Oh no, Poundland are taking over 99p Stores. There's no hope left.
aye, it'll be all £1.99 shops from now on.
sob
oh so cold here, we actually had snow for all of 30 secs I counted 5 flakes, but further inland they had it for an hour. I wore my full lenght afghan coat but it was heavy so changed again into light warm anorak when I had to go out again. Bought myself some new tight brown jeans and a sweater to match, and a new cuddly basket for the cat, she sneers at it, and it's exactly the same as her old one, guess she'll have to pee in it before she accepts it!

Poor woofy, but we have told you to calm down and relax and take it easy, it's only what you would tell us to do, so do it!!

Where the Robi?
See?? there were no posts after my last one when I posted and look at you all !!!! Still sorry you two feel bad but glad you have called in!
1° here and gas fire just isn't coping! Best to go to bed methinks!

Oight oight.
four pairs of socks, that's what you need, neti. Unfortunately I'm wearing all four of mine.
I've had a nice evening at my great nephews 18th birthday party .Nice to see all my many various relatives and catch up.It was at a bistro in town ,lovely food .
The youngsters all went on to a club but us oldies need our beds .
Jno ,I bought a heat cushion recently for my back .It's also got slots in it that you can put your tootsies in .

I have done proper eating today and don't feel so much like a wet rag. Onwards and upwards.
that looks great, shaney... I shall get Stortford Sis to pop in and have a look at them, I think she's just down the road.

Glad to hear you are on the mend, woofy. OH is still gulping down Contac capsules, which seem to ease the symptoms. I prefer just to self-medicate at night and leave colds to work themselves out during the day, but I've never had one as bad as you and OH have.
Morning all...grey and very cold but not frozen.

//I bought a heat cushion recently for my back .It's also got slots in it that you can put your tootsies in //
!!
For a mad moment there shaney I thought you must have been overdoing the yoga :) Good thing you provided a link.... it looks good actually.

Are any of you with HSBC? My debit card expires in three weeks and I can't remember how far in advance they send the new ones.

good morning all, the dogs raked me out of bed because they needed a wee, then they decided it was too cold to stay awake so are back asleep again.
A very late good morning. Been shopping took a casserole dish back that had a bubbled lining and was promptly told they were not oven proof and on the booklet says not for hob use. Whf??? Paid extra and got a cast iron one. 10° now verible summer. Was 3° when we went shopping at 9 our time. But dark and dismal so going hone now.
HSBC? They probably lend customers' cards out to their top staff to trial for a few weeks before sending them on....

I don't know, but I think with most issuers it's 2-4 weeks. All ours used to be delivered by a Dutchman on a motorbike, whoever the issuers were; but these days they seem to just pop them in the post, where they're as likely to get lost as any other mail, so if you're still waiting two weeks before the old one expires, I'd give them a call and check. I didn't last time and it turned out it had got lost, so they had to cancel the card and I got a new number.
Hello all
Bit gloomy but not quite as freezing cold .I think it's about 4C real feel and the biting wind has eased off .
Lol Robinia ,if I got into any yoga positions I'd need the fire brigade to get me out of them .My debit card ran out end of Jan and I think I got the new one late December .
Glad to see you feel better Woofy.KBO .
Don't know about yoga, If I get down to the bottom shelf of a supermarket I can't get up again, most embarrassing, have to sort of roll over and get up!! Daren't grab hold of the shelves and I'd probably pull them over!
