Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Oh more babies born into the family but in USA, nephew's daughter had identical twin girls, after being in hospital for ages, had them by caesarian, they can only be told apart cos of the belly buttons, and now they painted opne toe nail, had lots of offers from companies to sponsor them! Nearly 5lbs each so not bad!

By 'eck it's cold and damp, have the gas fire lit (lighted??) loads of clothes on but still freezing. Mr N is going to chop some logs for a real fire later, so as to warm through the house.

Mr N is up on the flat roof waterproofing it, I am cosily in bed eating tst n marmelade He then has to chop some firewood, as the log fire warms the house through and makes it bearable, although the front room gets too hot, the butane gas fire doesn't!

Lovely bright day but still cold with an easterly wind .
Hope you're all ok .I now have a vision of Neti decked out in a snowman onesie ,tiptoeing through the fields just as the clock strikes two .

Can't really help with the bird food Robinia ,I don't put too much out these days only suet ,raisins and some mealworms for the robin .I have to watch out in case psychopuss the serial killer is on the prowl .I sometimes put those fat cakes out which I buy in Wilkos or QD.

Have just set the house on fire. Had a roaring fire and then the room filled with smoke AND THEN AND ONLY THEN did I remember that I had put a towel on the pipe in the chimney to stop it dripping in the rain! Mr N valiently struggled to get the burning object and handed to me outside and I had to dump it.

We had to open all doors and windows to clear the smoke which left us in a freezing room with a log fire. All's well now!!

Finall, after the smoke cleared, it's been lovely and cosy sitting here watching tv and dozing and the cat too.

Our temperature is supposed to be up a bit but it doesn't feel like it to me. The sun was welcome on the front of the house but it doesn't half show up the dust. :o/

it does seem to be warming up a bit... allegedly it's about the same temperature as yesterday... I'm wondering if the ground takes a while to get cold and then warm again, as that seems to be what makes me cold: it starts with my feet, even when I'm indoors, rather than the air around me.

Morning, A'noon, wateva....lovely sunny day so far, up to a balmy 7C. The sting has gone out of the breeze but it does feel colder in the shade.
Made it to the shops, albeit slowly and shakily but I saw a lovely lady I've known for ages, arthritic and cautious herself, and she ambled round with me. I think we were the blind leading the blind. The birds will be pleased they can have a feast now instead of having to queue up for recently imposed rations.
