Canadian Club Sherry Cask Whiskey
Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...

Thanks for the info about the art exhibitions Jno. I'm going down south in April and am hoping to get to the Capital for a couple of days so you never know I may get to see some painting. I managed the Mona Lisa in the Louvre but didn't get round to looking at a lot of the rest of the paintings.
I've had a busy weekend. Walking Thursday, cinema Friday to see the Second Best etc. film which I enjoyed. I thought is was funny in parts but not as much as the first one but such a feel good film and it ended.... Well I won't say in case you haven't seen it.
Afterward we went for dinner at a pub called The Oust House where I had a lovely Salmon Salad.
Saturday I went to see Derby Draw against Birmingham 2-2. Birmingham scored their 2 Goals in injury time. Rediculous! Derby let themselves down. Still Ive got my season ticket for next season.
I now have another what I think is a rat problem I loft. I've rang the pest control and they are coming round tomorrow to check. I couldn't believe it after have all the work done last year on my sewage pipe etc. I'm a bit concerned that they may be coming from the house next door with the scruffy garden but I don't know if they can make holes between lofts of neighbouring houses.
That's me moan for the day so I think I'll get off to bed. Tomorrow is Tai chi, back home for 12 for the RatMan then while I'm waiting for them I'm finishing off painting my bathroom door.

Yoo hoo Joode. Sorry about the rats again, I'd be horrified. I hope you get rid of them, they could be coming from anywhere, they can climb up walls if the bricks are rough.
You couldn't make it up about the birds could you? That's exactly what happens, they hear me open the door to the garden but they can't see me, and vice versa, so when they swoop down there are often near misses but I've never had a direct hit before.
What we need shaney is one of the new Apple watches, apparently they tell you when you're being lazy and it's time to get up and exercise. Ha! Booger that. I'd take it off and put it on top of the washer. 10 minutes of juddering round the kitchen and it would be speed dialing the paramedics...or a dodgy film crew :)

Robi I actually get a blackbird and his wife every day now. He sits on the fence and waits for me to put the meal worms and stuff out. I've got one of those old chimney pots and Ive put a terracotta coloured tray that just fits in the top and it's right in front of the kitchen window so can watch when in washing up.

It's lovely out, very springlike, I had a saunter to the shops.
My sis had a bad night, she came back on Sat from a week in Malta with the lurgy and last night she says she had fever demons, went gaga for an hour and frightened her OH. :( I've told her to get some antibios but I bet she doesn't.
I wonder how long it'll be before there's a watch that detects our ailments. That'll cut down on fao' s.

Robi, you are sounding better! I have been doing more sorting today, it just seems endless. I have also broken the light switch in my bathroom which is annoying as I can't repair it and a new one needs wiring into the main which I won't attempt. I am thinking of changing the bath in there out for a shower so there will be some redoing so its a bit silly to get the switch fixed before that happens....yadda yadda.
Lovely day. Did all my bed linen and whites and dried them outside this morning.
Also under coated the bathroom door. One side is bright green so have to redo that before I gloss it.
Rat man been. Same one as last year. He's put some test bait down and is coming back in 2 weeks to check.
Finally Severn Trent are coming to clear my pipes. :-) apparently the rat man had to inspect the manhole for rats coming in and he told me, I wouldn't have known otherwise.
