Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Many thanks

good morning all. Robi, I get those burst blood vessels in my hands, I found that taking calmagzinc tablets stopped them but they are like small housebricks. We are having a leisurely start to sunday here, we shared smoked salmon bagel for breakfast and two of us are now asleep.
Hello all
Lovely day here but still that chilly breeze .Ouch ..that's painful Robinia .
I don't need snippers here,I need Edward Scissorhands .
Hope you're all ok .Not much doing today ,lots on tv tonight though .I'm looking forward to Poldark .

#lazy Sunday afternoon....# I've spent most of it watching tv and nodding off.
Hasn't been a lovely day here, the rain arrived with the winds. So much for the tropical weekend. It was ok yesterday, eventually, in the sun and out of the wind, with 4 layers on. :)

The lovely day has morphed into cold and raining .So much for the forecasts .
God knows where these warm temps are that they keep shouting about .
Perhaps it's warm in Fustyweed ..lol.
I think I'll make a bit of dinner and join you on the sofa Robinia .

we didn't get rain here but a grey day. Its a beautiful evening though
Hello all, it's been really sunny here, we had a trip round the island and then a delightful lunch, I managed a steak! Then spent the afternoon lazing and dozing in front of tv, watching a James Bond with Timothy Dalton, oooh he's nice!!
spent the day in the leafy south east, going round Ightham Mote and then having an extremely late lunch with jno jnr and wife and her parents. Lovely and sunny most of the time it was. The trains were nice and quick and it was only £4.40 return (the lunch cost more, and the steak in my steak sandwich was very chewy). A very nice break from the computer screen, but as Findmypast is free this weekend I will have to try to get the most out of it about my ancestors before tomorrow noon.

ended up doing bits and pieces, restarting my indoor bulbs and tubers (gloxinia, achimenes, Rothschild lily. ginger and something I can't remember. tomorrows job is to tidy up the shed ready for the tortoises so they can be in there with a heat lamp and for the potatoes so they can be started into sprouting ready to plant. Soil is being delivered wednesday then its all hands to sorting out the tortoise pen! OK Neti you can come out of hiding now :)
Sounds like a nice day Jno .Ightham Mote is lovely .
You've been busy Woofy .I've done very little today .
Poldark was very good although it was sad to see Warren Clarke in his last ever role.
Midwives was a tear jerker.I wonder if there'll be another series.
blooming plants and seeds and stuff, grumble grumble grumble!!

Here I is woofy and good morning to everyone, lovely sunny day here although I can smell a waft of bonfire and that will make me furious!! If ever I am in some sort of power, I will ban bonfires and umbrellas!!

Yes midwife was so sad, when she left the flat with those flowers on the window sill, really touching and a forbidden love!

Shaney have to say The Americans is getting good, she has started to turn her daughter but he doesn't know!!

Hope Robi is feeling better, and that you all have a good day.
I've never seen Poldark as I wasn't in the country at the time, doesn't appeal to me, but will download it anyway for when there's nothing to watch!
Morning all...foggy fogey signing in, my sleep pattern went haywire before the weekend (must have been the full moon) and now I can't think straight. Even though the days are getting longer I'm not very good with the change of light ..I'm a finely tuned creature ya know! :)

You've been busy...well most of you, someone has to keep the sofas warm, eh shaney? :) Neti when I rule the world I'll ban bonfires, loud fireworks, broccoli, olives, and all over-hyped commercialised days.... Christmas/Valentine's/Mother's day/etc. I suspect I won't be very popular.

Call the Midwife was sad/happy, they do a good mix of emotion. It was obvious where the morning sickness was leading and knowing what we know now it makes a chill run through you. I'm sure the announcer said there'd be a new series next year. I never watched Poldark before, not really my thing either.

Frosty start and wind and rain on the way...again.
Morning all
Lovely atm ,bright and sunny but warm it ain't.Showers this afternoon .
Hope you're all ok .
Lol Robinia ,I'll need a bigger sofa soon to accomodate my spreading backside.
I thought a walk rind the grinds would clear my head...it didn't, it only made my ears ring, that wind's bitterly cold. That dip in the sofa where I sit looks very inviting and it's only 10 o'clock. I wonder how far I can vacuum from there? :)
I'm also spreading out, have gained two kilos, but I shall eat another bowl of strawbs, cream and marshmallow to cheer me up. No idea how I've gained the weight ! :-))
Question Author
yes they said at the end of midwife that there would be another series next year.
Haha, I've just been saying I need a whole team to do the garden, maybe there are robots with scissorhands. I did it the old biddy way and whizzed round with the carpet sweeper, it's too dark to see any muck & dust now, it's piddling down. I wish I could spread but I couldn't eat as much as you seem to neti, have you got two stomachs?
Yes Robi I think I have and they show!!
I'm jinxed I must be. Just went to top up the bird feeders and throw some seed down for the afternoon ground visitors. As I walked past the outbuilding a big bird flew hard into my forehead which still hurts from the fall I had. It was probably a pigeon, I was too knocked and shocked to see. Now I've got a headache. What the hell?!
Despairing and disbelieving of Derby. :(
