Canadian Club Sherry Cask Whiskey
Dos anyone know where I can get this mail order please, my usual supplier doesn't seem to have any?
Just to be clear, I am not interested in alternates unless they are also a version of Canadian Club, or (and I mean this nicely) opinions on my taste in alcohol.

Morning all...I was thinking what a lovely light morning it was and then I realised I'd slept late. Jude should have set her alarm :) Neti, re the baby, you have mail. I mentioned it yesterday afternoon. thwack! ....for not paying attention... I think this will be my song du jour...

Went out dress for winter, then the mist cleared, the sun came out and I was boiling hot, but having to look "cool" I slogged all the way home in my fur trimmed anorak, instead of taking it off! Hair looks an absolute mess which is unusual, but I have been "at it" so have had to make an appointment for Friday!
Can see that youtube now woofy, it is a programme and not a real fire? am really getting into this ethanol fire thingy, but wonp't tell Mr N until I have found what I am looking for. Apparently you do not have to buy the actal things, you can do it with a fireproof container and ethanol, and then buy the ceramic logs, so am looking into where I can get ethanol here!

really weird outside, the fog has returned and it is really eerie, can vaguely see lampposts but it's quite horrible.
Dinner was disaster! Road chicken and all the trimmings, sausage; stuffing; chestnuts, broccoli, cauli, peas carrots, roasted onions , roast pots and mash and onion gravy, the gas bottle ran out and I didn't know it, so lit the oven again and all seeemd well but after a while I noticed no cooking smells, damn, so Mr N changed the bottle but was an hour late, so I prodded and poked and it all seemed cooked, chicken was fine, all was fine except the roast pots were semi hard, and the broccoli and cauli were crunchy, I was really really miffed, bless Mr N he soldiered on saying it was fine, his may have been although I seriously doubt it!
Earlier I was making lime mousse, and the jelly I had put to semi set had set like a rock, so I heated it up and mixed the cream , but there were lumps of jelly that would not mix, but have to admit the mousse was Ok, really nice in fact. Kitchen is all cleaned up and so am I and in bed where, hopefully; I can't do any more wrong!

.Morning all - well what a fog we had last night, a whole Ryanair full of passengers are stranded in Barcelona as they couldn't land and Ryanair can't fly them in until tomorrow!!
Yes Robi I must do better, although things are looking up as I toasted two pieces of bread this am and they were perfect! Really must concentrate on dinner tonight!!
Q for woofy or anyone in the kbnow! I've asked sqad, but no idea if and when he'll answer. I take Condrosan for joints or something and only take them for 2 months then 1 month off, but cannot remember when I started them this year or last! so if I take a month more or a month less, will it matter??

Hi all. Pleased you're on the mend now Shaney and feeling better. I've been doing a Neti today and got all housework and ironing done before tomorrow's long walk with my walking friend. She lives in a small town called Belper and we will probably walk round the Valley over there. Up and down and up again back to her house. Hopefully it's going to be a bit dryer.
Just going to watch the darts at 10 for Red Nose Day.
I found it very funny the last few nights. That's if I don't fall asleep.

and the Do was nice, drank some white wine and had some snacky odds and ends and talked to people as best I could considering it was a bit noisy, but it was all about tourism in the south east and was very interesting. Apparently there will be 950th anniversary celebrations of 1066 next year, which will be nice as I am leaving before the 1000th anniversary.

Slept better last night, I went to bed later, about 11.30, it's amazing, it I go at 10.30 then I am awake forever, Mr N of course goes to bed early as he's tired because he's working quite hard. Cat is still pratting about at night, but she has her routine, so I know when she finally settles.
Yes I also miss theatres and museums and things to do, even after all this time.
