After a 3 hour business opportunity presentation, (9.30-12.30) It states a 'light lunch' will be provided - an all cold buffet or some hot snacks?

I wouldn't really care as long as it was nice.
hot snacks............ really cold here today.
Are you doing the catering mercia? I always thinks it's nice to have something warm with a buffet.

I would do a bit of both.
I'd include some hot food, it's quite chilly still!
