weather's changed again so I'm undecided....which would you prefer

After a 3 hour business opportunity presentation, (9.30-12.30) It states a 'light lunch' will be provided - an all cold buffet or some hot snacks?

Awww thanks Mercia, its going to be on the 22nd May but I'd like to plan ahead and I'm also thinking of doing healthy stuff as well.

Oh and its mostly going to be adults at his 1st birthday as its the only really big one I'm going to do with loads of family. From his 2nd b'day onwards it will just be little ones and a few adults.

The cold buffet would have been:
Platter of various sliced cold meats and cheeses, buttered rolls,
Sausage rolls,
Quiche: Tuna and sweetcorn, smoked ham and mushroom, cheese and onion
Homemade coleslaw
Chicken liver paté with melba toasts
New potato salad
various toppings on Crostini : smoked salmon, beef and horseradish, tomato and mozzarella, cheddar and caramelised onion chutney
Kettle chips and dips
Bowls of tossed mixed green salad

Personally I would go for the cold buffet but serve the quiche and sausage rolls warm along with warm potato salad in a salsa verde type dressing rather than a cold classic potato salad.

The hot buffet feels a bit carb heavy for me.
