What are you having for dinner (by that I mean tea, not lunch!)

We're having Beef Bourguignon (chunks of Aberdeen Angus steak cooked in burgundy wine with garlic, button onions, button mushrooms, smoked bacon and fresh herbs. I'm doing buttered new potatoes and new season carrots. For pud there's mango and passionfruit cheesecake.

Roast chicken and roasted veg....
I love Beef Bourguignon and haven't had it for ages. Will add it to my list of things to cook once I get the plaster off my leg. For now hubby is cooking so sausage and mash tonight.
Off to pick up a new bike for Mr Wingnut so probably a McDonalds (you know to fit in with the healthy lifestyle hence the new bike!) Rather have what your having tho Mercia :o)
I`m going to make Keema from my friend`s Indian mother in law`s receipe. I`ve got some spinach to use so I`m going to do Chicken saag masala as well. I`ve got some dahl I brought back from Delhi and a naan from the freezer (Sainsburys)

Unfortunately yes anne but I have just taken some more painkillers and hope they kick in soon. Thanks for asking.

My usual stir fry veg with oyster & spring onion sauce and a peppered salmon steak.

TonyV - that's if you can get real goat. Ask for currygoat and more often than not it's mutton there are a few good Jamaican places in the market in Birmingham you can get it. Don't you think it tastes better the next day?!!
Tigger...I did stir fry yesterday. Chicken and pork (loads of meat because we have a non veg eater) made sure there was enough to have lunch today. Just went to check and some gobshite has eaten all the meat out of it...
Because the present Mrs Hughes is away - been gone a week and a half - three weeks to go - I am finding myself bored to death with my limited culinary skills.

I don;t really enjoy food, so have no impetus to cook nice meals - just basic stuff I like.

Tonight Mathew, I will be having - fried plaice in breadcrumbs with garden peas and bread and butter, followed by three chocolate buscuits and a long sit down on the settee in front of the telly..
