What do you serve with pizza to make it more of proper meal rather than a snack-type thing? Thanks

Chips/jacket spud/salad
A really nice big salad, incl potato salad, coleslaw and chips if you're really famished.
garlic bread and/or salad. prefer just the salad myself.
Different types of salad are nice and some chips for me !
My homemade pizzas are definitely a proper meal - but you could have soup to start (minestrone?) and have a side-salad with lots of olives.
Half a pizza plus baked beans makes a meal for me. (Add chips if hungry!).
Barbera, barolo, chianti etc
Salad
Usually do chips and salad if I'm doing pizza for the whole family, but just the pizza and salad fills me up
More pizza
I think that Venator has the best idea but I'm not sure that Sherrardk really wants to get her 5 kids inebriated ;-)
Usually a salad and garlic bread. When I make my own I pile it high with veg so it becomes a meal in itself.
salad

More pizza.....
I do something I call a pizza platter for the kids sometimes,it's pizza-large one, half each, chips, salad, garlic bread and breadsticks. They certainly feel full after that lot.
I often make pizzas using tortilla wraps. They are a lot less fattening than normal pizza bases.
If a pizza is just a snack, you didn't make it big enough.
