Panhackelty on a Thursday? One the one occasion I plucked up courage to visit the lands enshrouded in the mists of the Tyne it was explained to me that this dish was only served on a Monday, being the remnants of Sunday's dinner fried up. Might be a bit off by Thursday.
During the war, many evacuated 'city' children had no idea that milk came from cows and not bottles.......

Seems that some things never change.
jerk chicken and rice... I think....

maybe ....depends,,,,if I can be @r5ed
no, you can have it anytime now Plautus, times have changed here, we now do laundry any day too :-)

I've been serving in the shop! Darn well well had it with this site . I'm in trouble if I answer everybody 'just trying to keep the thread going' and I'm in trouble if I don't - why do the majority on here think it's okay to have a go at me huh?
Ribeye steak, jacket potato, and salad.
jerk chicken was one of my ideas rowan..... i feel just like you about it (and the other ideas i had)
mercia...perhaps the lad of 12 was right. i'm fairly sure there is no chicken in nuggets - certainly looks and tastes like it anyway! x

Bye Bobbi - take care love XX
mercia, don't rise to anything please,
your damned if you do and damned if you don't but it's in your hands :-0))
Lasagne with steamed potatoes and salad and for a pudding rum & raisin cheesecake otherwise known as "fly pie" as the raisins look like dead flies !!!
i wasnt having a go at you mercia i was making an observation...if you look, after i said it you said hello to bobbi who had only just posted but only bobbi.... i just thought it was rude to ask something then totally ignore everyones answers...i didnt say you werent allowed to do it.....

good to hear you are well enough to help out in the shop and get back to cooking though.... :)

strange that helping out in the shop prevents you from a quick reply to a poster but you managed to write a huge post about something that happened to you
Well I could also do fajitas as its chicken strips ...but I have got the option of bangers and mash with a friend tonight as well.....decisions decisions..
Safiya, there is nothing strange about it, for heaven sake , give her a break , will you.
Just because she didn't answer various posts doesn't make it "strange"
Oooh rowanwitch, definately fajitas! Enjoy!
oh snap again.. i thought of fajitas too .... my other option is chuck it in the oven with some veg and have rice with it.... i hate it when i cant decide :(
You may choose to do your laundry whenever, Bobbi, but to me Monday isn't Monday without the copper, the poss stick and the mangle.
Fajitas tomorrow I think with some cajun wedges and guacamole dip and some green salsa
Note to self... need limes for the beer
hey Mike, good to see you back matey, you seemed to disappear in a crossword thread of all places, are they getting mardy in there now?
glad to see you anyway :0)
if you read what i said bobbi i said i wasnt having a go at her.... and if you read again you will see i said it was strange she could do a long post but not a quick reply.... i didnt say it was strange she didnt reply to people ....i also commented it was good she was getting better so give up with your 'give her a break' you are making something out of nothing ...as per
