Chicken Soup

My sister is at home poorly with a cold at the moment and I need to either make/buy some chicken soup for her. Does anyone know where I can buy a good Jewish one from? All the ones in the shops are 'cream of' but that's not what I'm after (I am in Central London). Alternatively, does anyone have a quick recipe for one? I have one but it takes forever! Many thanks

In about 2/3 of a saucepan of boiling water, place some chicken joints (or a chicken carcass left over from a roast), a peeled onion (cut in half), a carrot (peeled and sliced), 2 sticks of celery (chopped) and a handful of fresh mixed herbs (e.g thyme, sage, parsley, bay leaf). Bring back to the boil and simmer for about an hour and a half.
Let it cool a bit and strain out all the solids then skim off any fat.
Season to taste with sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
If you let it set like jelly it is good as well, with toast.
