Christmas Morning - What Time Do You Get Up??

For those with kids - at what ungodly hour do you expect to be woken up?
And for those with none/or grown up kids - will you be having a lie in or are you still big kids at heart and will be up early to see what Santa has brought you?

Between 5 and 6am Smow. Spending Christmas with the grandkids 8,7 and 4 so it's manic, but magic at the same time x

Plan on having a lie in.
Made the mistake once of waking the young albas (possibly 3 and 4 years of age at that time at 6 in the morning. I was really excited and thought it would be a good idea.

6 a.m. same time as I always get up!

We always had to wake our son up when he was little. He was never put to bed early as a child so we all got up together. It worked for us. Being retired I can now get up whatever time I like. Christmas presents have always been after Lunch, except for a small Christmas stocking when son was little which was opened first thing in the morning.

My youngest is 14 so I doubt they'll be in a rush to get up.

I usually wake quite early (well, I'm usually woken up early by a fidget)

Yoga - I am so not a morning person!!! 6.00am is like the middle of the night for me. I come to life in the evenings.

I only have teen smow at home now but he still gets up really early with excitement - am hoping for after 7am ( if its still dark it will feel like the middle of the night!)

yep Smow, I did, a terrible mother!! By the time Mr Alba surfaced I was ready to go back to bed!!
They're only young once :-)

LL- I agree, I used to be a really early bird but now hate getting up in the dark.

I'll get up at about 9.30 am and have a glass of cava and drink to my hubby as we always used to do. Santa won't be bringing me any presents as I haven't bought myself anything but going to dinner at a friend's this year.

I hope to sleep in until at least 08.00, I won't get up until the first irritating well wisher rings to yell 'Merry Christmas' down the phone :-(

I usually stagger forth around nine, but my youngest daughter and our youngest grandson are living with us at the moment, and his default rising time is around 06:00, so if he doesn;t sleep in, it will be then, but if he does, then what ever time he wanders in and pulls the duvet off Gagad so he can get up and come and watch CeeBeebies!

I have no children but still wake up at 5am, hubby tells me to buggar off!
