Sausages and fish from the supermarket chiller cabinet were taken camping on Wednesday, and were not unwrapped. They have been brought home and put in the fridge last night. Are they safe to eat? They were kept in the car. Thanks.

I wouldn't risk it because cars get very warm when you are travelling, and then cool down again. I would sling them.
No. If food is not kept below 5c it can be highly dangerous. Why spoil your Xmas with this worry.
The advice is keep the product chilled
I wouldn't chance it

Thanks for your answers. Will they be ok for the foxes in our garden?
I would think so. Considering that foxes scavenge on meat and fish that may have been around for ages. But bear in mind that the food would encourage rats as well.

I'd just bin them. You don't want sick foxes over christmas.
I certainly wouldn't risk it. Camping in Dec with all this rain? Your'e very brave aren'rt you. X
