I hate it!
I want my own food on my own plate, thank you very much. When did this trend for sharing a pudding start?

I can understand, perhaps, a mixture of finger food so each can have a taste of different things but share one pudding in one bowl? Never.

That was a great one, Craft.
Oh sharing is so romantic.
Haha. Nessa is hilarious in that scene.

^ So is Smithy ...

Mamya, do you feed each other, too?

Guaranteed to put me off my food.
I love the part where she starts eating the food with her hands, recalling her time spent in Mumbai where she lived with some rich Arab.
You don't "have" to do you?
It's probably quite lucky I agree with snags all things considered... ALthough the other day my dad ordered a scoop of cornflake ice cream as part of his desert just so I could try it :c)
Not off-topic... :-)

romantic my arse, be prepared for broken fingers if you take my food
i did that to the o/h, stabbed his hand with the fork for pinching my food, don't do it if you want to stay puncture free.
i have seen that, classic episode
althought the romantic sharing stuff can go shove itself
My dad pinned a blokes hand to the table when he was in the RAF for nicking a sausage off his plate.
Sharing a variety of dishes is usual in a lot of cultures - and it has it's benefits when you're with a large group as it means you can have a bit of everything rather than a lot of one thing/combination of things :)

I always think that it's not caught on in the UK because sometimes we have to take our enemies to diner!
I'm with Snags!! You made your bed, now lie in it - eat what you ordered and do not covet my dinner/pudding/drink!!!! Otherwise you risk being "forked" !!!
I think 'nicking' food and sharing food are completely different.
I wouldn't dream of putting my hands anywhere near someone else's plate, and just helping myself to a few chips. It's so rude!

Sharing is lovely though, although I think it's only really appropriate with starters and desserts. I don't like to see people feeding each other their mains. That's just ming.
Like Snags said sharing should be agreed in advance. I wouldn't try and nick food from someones plate....

I'm telling lies again.....
^^ rude!

:P
Rude and a mob ruler :-)
