Who thinks that Brussels sprouts are (a) foul (b) tolerable but wouldn't choose to eat them or (c) think they're wonderful?

Vile. They are just failed cabbages.

foul.
Foul, but the kids like them. I will put one on my plate but not eat it.
Wonderful, eat them all year round.
c - if they are small and not over cooked - maximum four minutes steaming and then perhaps tossed off lightly in butter, a quick grind of black pepper.....
Somewhere between (b) and (c) but only with chicken or turkey. I can`t image christmas turkey with carrots, cabbage or broccoli.
Oh yuck gross & bleurr
forgot to add apparently its genetic whether or not they taste bitter to you.

Properly cooked, they're rather tasty.
If I wasn't getting my shopping delivered, I would get the Christmas sprouts from Aldi. They sell them still on the stalk and I would like to show the kids how they grow.
I used to detest them, the last year or two they seemed somehow more palatable.
Watching this tonight, explained why.

a, Can't imagine why they were ever considered edible.
Love them but I part cook them then finish them of in the frying pan with bacon bits yummy
sherrard, waitrose sell those stalky sprouts as well, or did last year.
b
Love them...but sadly lordalex and the son-and-heir hate them :-( .
But I claim cook's privileges at Xmas and insist on having them. :-)
I love them.

My father never picked his sprouts until they had some frost on them. They were sweeter then. Supermarket ones are typical mass produced rubbish as they are picked too soon.
I don't mind them. Had some today in the canteen as they were doing Xmas dinner.
