Does anybody know what the healthiest/least fattening option at Pizza Hut is?

Please don't suggest the salad bar as I have huge issues with food that's been left exposed! (and although I doubt they're very fattening, flies/child bogeys don't class as "healthy"!)

a thin crust pizza with veg toppings or they do pasta dishes now that are main meals not from the salad cart x

Best thing would be not to eat at Pizza hut at all if you are that worried about food left exposed. In their kitchens the pizzas are made using trays of exposed meat, veg and sauces. The pasta dishes are kept in foil trays in the fridge - but you don't know how long the ingredients were exposed at the factory.

Come to that... you'd have to worry about anything you buy in the supermarket as you don't know how long it sat about before being wrapped in plastic, and how long it's sat wrapped in plastic before you buy it.

Thanks, I just found out they do a reduced fat vegetable pizza with a thin crust!

If it was up to me I wouldn't go in there, but it's my friend's birthday and we're starting the night out there!

It's not like an extreme phobia or anything, but the reason I don't want to eat from the salad cart is that when I was at college I actually worked in another restaurant with a salad bar, and know how much cross contamination occurs, even when the food is completely changed every couple of hours. In a restaurant, staff have hygiene rules, whereas customers don't!

P.S. I generally don't buy processed food from supermarkets anyway, it's poor quality rubbish plus I'm not a fan of factory farming!

last time i was in Pizza hut i got the warm chicken salad off of the main menu, it had lots of slightly spicy chicken breast meat and the salad had chilli oil dressing, it was served with tortilla chips (not too many) and really sweet cherry tomatoes.  There was an amazing platefull, and boy did it go down well!!
Thanks for the comments about the salad bar!
After an enjoyable meal yesterday I now feel quite nauseous.
Just have a pizza. Having fat once in a while isnt going to kill you. Eat food thats been exposed! It not going to kill you! Lighten up and enjoy life! You only live once.
