'picky Food' Ideas...

Hi, I'm having some old school friends over this weekend. I have no idea how many, as some have given a definite 'yes', whilst others have said 'maybe', which is a pain, but I need ideas for food.

We're having a school reunion (the worst school reunion ever 'organised') so I came up with the brilliant idea of doing 'drinks and nibbles' at mine beforehand, for a bunch of people I haven't seen in 15 years.

I'm quite busy for most of the day, so need something I can prepare either the night before or quickly in the morning and then fridge.

Don't want to spend too much, and it doesn't have to be fancy.

I am not saying this is for you Sham - but when I moved here to my "new" home at the time - my next door neighbour used to have parties every week - like I did. Anyway you know how the Chinese give you too much of this and that. Her friends and herself maybe 20 of them - put in £1 into a kitty and this bought them £20 of goodies from chinese and it did go a long way. I think it is a great idea.

I'm going to go with a big bowl of salad, and the meats, olives, bread and balsamic idea.

One cheeky cow has messaged me today to tell me what she likes to drink... nothing but bubbles!

It's literally all I drink at the mo. That and Lilt.
