Flamin' heck, I probably won't know the answer to that one until about 4pm on Christmas Eve, when I finally get round to starting to get some food in for Christmas!
(I've been known to start my Christmas shopping at 3pm on Christmas Eve, including the Christmas cards I had to post around the country!)
What ever I pick up in the supermarket ' reduced to sell fresh bin' just before closing on Christmas eve. Got a 17lb turkey for £1 last year so we had turkey, did boxing day and the next day as well . 3 days food for 5 of us for £1 beat that!
We go to my niece's who's the only one with a house big enough there'l be about thirty including kids who have their dinner while the men go for a beer.Full traditional including an hours nap afterward followed by the usual stupid games
What I eat on Christmas Day will probably be whatever's left after the cats have had all of the good bits. For example, if I bring a chicken & stuffing sandwich home from a supermarket I always end up eating just a stuffing sandwich. Similarly, if I buy a smoked salmon and cream sandwich, I end up eating just a cream cheese sandwich.
I suspect that if I go for turkey with all the trimmings for Christmas lunch, I might just get left with the Brussels sprouts!
Most likely be Steak for me this year, OH is away with Family for a few days, can't find a Kennel that isn't fully booked for the Holiday, so I'm Dog-sitting. We'll have our Christmas at New Year, no big deal.
