No sausages. Beef stewing steak, or hough, as my mother used to call it, plus lamb's kidney. If you wish to be truly exotic then add some black pudding.

With, I moved from west coast to east coast Scotland, was shocked that they didn't put sausages in their steak pies. Just thought it was the done thing.
We're having it tomorrow, whole family round, meat cooking in slow cooker, sausages already done.

I've never heard of sausages in steak pie. I'd go with option B because I don't like sausages.

My mum made amazing steak pies, stews, soups etc. But no sausages!!
