So 'lunch' (at around 3pm) was some Cumberland sausages (which had been in the freezer for ages), casseroled in half a jar of Tikka Masala sauce (left over from yesterday's chicken curry), served with a jacket potato (used up before it actually takes root in the cupboard).
I often only eat one main meal a day, so I might not have anything (other than, say, a few biscuits) this evening but, if I do, I'll probably try to use up some cheese. So I might just have cheese on toast or perhaps a chili dish with lots of cheese on top.

OG, I make a spicy bean stew with a tin of butter beans, a tin of chickpeas and a tin of whatever other beans I have, usually borlotti beans. Open cans, open another of chopped tomatoes, tip into a pan, chuck in a couple of teaspoons of paprika and/or any other spices you fancy, maybe a stock cube. Boil up till hot enough. Serve with rice, pasta, bread, whatever is to hand. Job done. Get enthused ;)
