The other I was buying food for the protein phase of my diet, and decided to get some jarred cockles. After I'd eaten them I couldn't help drinking the whole vinegar solution left in the jar. Gosh, it was lovely. I want some more now. Is this normal? We have other vinegars in the house, but they won't do for glugging.
Will it do me harm if I get loads of jarred cockles and drink the liquid? I've googled and can only find pregnant women doing the same. I'm definitely not pregnant!

I hate the smell and taste of malt vinegars, I don't mind other types in dressing so much, but i couldn't drink a jar of it.

Vinegar strokes?
I ordered a pint of rough cider at a rough pub once; and got vinegar. Couldn't drink it all though.
not drinking a jar of that either....
Not for me, but each to their own.

A jar? Impressive.

The thought of vinegar on chips is positively revolting. The only vinegar I use is balsamic.
Organic cider vinegar is supposed to have health benefits, but might destroy your tooth enamel.
I remember a time when my mum would send me to the local shop with a jug, so as to buy a pint of vinegar, the shopkeeper would measure out the vinegar from a barrel of vinegar on the counter.

I often had a swig of it on my way home, and yes my Mum always use to say that it would dry my blood up.
