Does Anyone Shop Online For Food

I shop on line, but check what I am spending.

i can't manage shopping well these day due to mobility problems, but find i am over spending at an alarming rate.

Only my main stock up mostly heavy bottles it's normally around £60 but it's about every 5 weeks. If I don't need so much i use Iceland as they have a lower free Delivery level. Rest of the time I mostly pop into Aldi on the way home from the gym, or sainsbury if I am in a hurry.

maybe, but i couldn't carry much, so delivery to my door is better. I include items that i wouldn't ordinarily buy or not that often, its a bit out of control i think.

Always. I can't remember last time I was in a supermarket. I add to my basket most days. I don't do a shop and just order it. I check my list before going to checkout and end up deleting loads of stuff because I was only ordering it because I was hungry :-)

I've got Tesco delivery saver. We pay £3.50 a month and that covers all our deliveries for a Tue/Wed/Thurs

Yep, one arriving in about an hour for me and mrs YMB.

Just over £210 this week. We tend to spend less, let Mrs YMB loose in the supermarket with my credit card and we get all sorts of stuff we dont need!

Always, I do a month's shop and then just pick up fresh bread etc from the corner shop - never overspend.

We do a list too, got a whiteboard in the Utility room.

I worked out if I was ordering less but more often it was cheaper to go myself and get a taxi. I do check my order because I still automatically add Dave's faves.

i tend to do mine weekly, though i have everything i need except the odd loaf or milk.

Although no comparison, Rowan, but I keep forgetting my kids have moved out. I just don't know how much to buy for just the two of us.

Yes ummm, our last one moved out 4 years ago but still struggle!

Menu planning is how I do it, and one or two sets of batch cook ingredients. The only thing that is always on my list is loads of fizzy water

Emmie...I know your freezer is full at the moment but when it goes down a bit milk freezes really well. I always have milk in the freezer.

not since they upped the limit to £40, not really worth it for me, i only used to get it for the cat litter so i wouldn't have to lug it around.

Our 'Little Princess' will only use Tesco cat-litter and I refuse to buy anything else from them.
I'd have to buy a years-worth of the stuff to qualify for free delivery and so we have to wend our weary way Tescowards about once every 3 months.
The other supermarkets we shop at don't deliver OR they could lob our groceries out of their delivery doors and into our yard....with a strong arm and following wind. :o)

I've never shopped online for food. I should do really. I drive into town every couple of days to buy food for various numbers of people.

On the rare occasions I go to Waitrose I end up spending silly amounts. I go in for a couple of pieces of fish or a bit of meat, and end up with my purse empty.

Jo - my OH went to the supermarket to buy some bits for a fry up and spent £68!! He can't resist special offers.
