I was given a tin of chick peas. Any suggestions what i can do with them? (polite answers only ;-D)

As much as I like chickpeas, life is too short to make humous.
Drain and pat dry then season with salt and chilli and roast till crisp
drain, stick them in a food processor with garlic (and some fresh herbs if you want, a bit of chilli powder, and olive oil, to make some hummus. Give me a bell when it's ready and I'll be round with the flatbreads!
Life is not too short to make hummus - takes all of 2 minutes in the food processor.
Don't you need tahini for hummus too?
I'm assuming that everyone has a jar of tahini in the cupboard.
I don't have a jar of tahini. Never even tried the stuff.
Great when curried
Forgot to add; also quite filling when you want one of those 'meat free' days.
Chick pea and spinach curry, or as a Spanish tapas dish(garbanzos con espinache). Delish!
One never ever ever needs tahini ! That's that revolting sesame seed in a disguise !
Tahini is brilliant - makes fantastic dressings as well as hummus.
I`ve got tahini in the cupboard. You can't make houmos or moutabel without it.
