Anyone think they have changed,and not for the better? The last 2 packets I bought,do not taste the same,and are not the old golden colour.They taste horrible actually!! Really insipid.

I'm sure they've got smaller as well....same thing happened to walnut whips! I digress, but maybe it's just me getting older!

I think it must be our taste buds deteriorating as we approach old age, pindy! I'm assured that hobnobs aren't what they were, and I assiduously avoid anything with 'new and improved' (or variations of that phrase) on the packaging.

They often change the recipes on things and make them worse. I have given up on Birds Eye beef burgers, they do not taste right now plus Findus chicken lasagne used to be nice but they changed the recipe and I don't buy it anymore.

Thanks for the answers folks! I agree that all too often the "improved" version is awful!! I think that a lot of the time,what they're actually doing is taking out some of the ingredients that nowadays are considered bad for us,but that made the original,what it was! But hey!! Thats progress!
