maple syrup products

does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

I would live to decorate my house American style but alas we do not have enough electricity coming into the house, it's not unlimited in this country! Beautiful sunny day and a bit chilly but that's fine. I'm thinking of getting the xmas decs out as it takes me ages to do it all. And I do like them but the thought is very wearying !!

That's a good idea Robinia .I've already got some red Christmassy candles dotted about .I do less now Woofy.Less is more as they say. I've weeded out a lot of old tat.
I will put the tree up but not just yet and the lovely ornaments that were from my in laws and of course Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the snow globes. I do love a snow globe.
I hope you can get your guttering fixed Woofy.The leaves are a blooming nuisance and with all this rain they stick fast .We'll have to check that drain daily now or it'll overflow everywhere. Chicken wire's a good idea Robinia .I'll get a man onto it :)

My decs look simple, just greenery and red candles on cupboard tops, and greenery and lights and a few baubles on fireplace. Its the putting away if the normal stuff, ie photos which is a bother ! Tree is just red flowers and silver stars and silver baubles. But it all takes time!!

Yes neti, those three are my favourites. Dylan seems to have been dumbed down slightly though, I liked him when he was really sharp...but I probably wouldn't want that from a doctor in real life :)

Yesterday brightened up nicely but back to wet and dark again today. I'm rapidly becoming a shopaholic, especially online clothes. I actually bought (and wore) five dresses over the summer. I went early xmas shopping with my sister a few weeks ago and came back with a jacket for myself ...and a bagful of undies. My bras had ceased making mountains out of molehills. :)

Was a lovely day here Nd we received a box of xmas pressies! Mr M was told by sis to open his news it's a new Sky remote and he is now content! She also send me an HD one for the bedroom as both old remotes didnt do as asked!! There are still loads of pressies left for xmas!
I wore mainly long dresses this summer, one was a lovely tiered hippie one which I wore with a fringed waistcoat ( sweated like mad but it's all about the look) and I bought a couple online from China which were lovely and loose . I didnt wear many pants this year and when I did they were white linen. It was very hot this year!

I just got off the phone with my step sister in law. My step father in law has died. We didn't get together often but spoke by phone. He was a lovely man.

I can't wear dresses these days with my horrible scarred leg and it wouldn't be a good look with these support socks anyway and I have to wear them.I bought some of those shift dresses which I can wear over black treggings with boots for the winter.I got them from Tu.They're nice and warm and skim over any wobbly bits.
Still raining little or much but it's supposed to dry up and brighten up although it'll turn cold which is better than this bone chilling damp.

The flashbacks were to when she was beaten up by the ex husband.
The children were only young at the time and so she swept it under the carpet and it was never spoken about but it festered under the surface as the two older ones had vague memories of it.I think she tried to hold it together but he was a control freak and the last straw for her was him having the affair with her best friend.Of course when she found herself a younger man that enraged him even more and even the younger son realised what a swine he was.

Morning all...it's not raining! The temperature's plummeted and it's frosty, sunny and blue skies which is far more seasonal. Had a bit of a lie in so it was actually light by the time I crawled out.

Went shopping again yesterday with my sister and we did very well. Almost all done now and it isn't even December. What am I going to do for next three weeks? Oh yes, online sales. I was very good, all I bought for myself was a make up sponge, M&S ding dinners and a box of choc biscuits. How long before I open them? :)
No, apart from a couple of CoOp carriers I haven't bought a bag this year shaney. My shopping trolley has been renamed 'wine cart', haha.

Haha ,online sales. I've already bought up all the slippers.
Got two pairs ,one black one wine colour with a sparkly diamante pattern embroidered on them.They're so swish I might wear them to go disco dancing :)
