does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

I saw it on a TV ad.I drift around the on line shops quite a lot
I've bought a whole virtual new wardrobe full of clothes, shoes and handbags:)
Lovely day again ,brilliant sunshine but still chilly.
Hope you're all OK. Yes ,Happy Facetime Mothers Day .Smile and wave ..lol.
Yes shaney. That's the one and I LOVE it!
I love it too.
I'm dithering over it. It would go in the lounge over the fireplace but I've got a picture there atm and can't decide where that could go.
it'll fit in the entrance hall of my little hideaway, shaney

shaney it's lovely but when I click on it it says out of stock. It's available in the Derby store but it's a long way to come :(
Oh pee po belly bum, trust me to miss the boat. They have it in Lowestoft but it's collect only.I like Art Deco and lust after one of those statuettes but not a replica ,a proper one, but you need mega bucks for the real thing.Dream on Shaney.
I bet that was a lovely building in its heyday Jno.
Watched Good Karma Hospital and Belgravia so I'm going to turn in.
Sleep tight all.See you tomorrow.

Bummer shaney. I want one too!
House phone beggared up and couldnt receive calls
I've just fiddled and found for all this fibre optic nonsense it's a old plug from at least 1980. Its very loose buy I've wobbled it and it's ok for now! All internet comes off it!
The sun is shining, so I made an attempt to walk around the garden and see what needs doing (by OH, my gardening days are gone) Its freezing out there, so I'm back. Lasted about 10 minutes!! Now wishing we had a small garden, but OH would die of boredom if he couldn't fiddle around out there most of the day. He keeps us going in logs and has an elegant line of compost bins and is now doing new veggie plots. Son delivered half of what I needed - they are still going mad in the shops. End of Bulletin.
Stay safe
I know, Apc, it's sunny but if you get in the way of the wind it's v chilly.

There's a huge tree lying on its side in next door's garden. I don't know if it's been blown over or felled properly, but at least no damage to the fence.
Afternoon all....Oh dear, sparkibiza is at it again. Please be careful neti, your island's got enough problems without being plunged into darkness.
Keep checking shaney, they might have some more mirrors come in. I don't think many people will be stockpiling them. I don't need one, I haven't got a reflection.

It's been glorious again and I've been out in my grounds, snipping and clipping. Plenty of good weather is what we need to keep the spirits up.
Oh good-o, our local supermarkets finally got loo rolls in

can't even get little nose-blowing tissues round here, people must be gluing them together to make loo rolls.

So you are now in a soft lockdown?
Question Author
hard lockdown. Stay at home unless you are in key employment going out for necessary food or medical need. Get food delivered if at all possible. Exercise permitted once daily alone or with one other member of your own household, no gatherings bigger than two people, no services or ceremonies except for funerals and then minimal attendance.
Yes ,Boris has spoken and it's the best thing to do for all concerned.
At least we know where we stand now and I hope people abide by it.
It's been another glorious day but still very chilly.
I think I'll put the mirror on hold for now.
It might crack when I stand in front of it and say ..mirror, mirror,on the wall etc especially after not being able to get my hair done for the foreseeable future :)
Hope you're all ok .KBO.
Sleep tight.

Morning...blue skies, sun's shining. Get food delivered? Fat chance...soon to be skinny chance I expect.
Look out garden, I'm on the prowl with my snippers again.
Or....

coronavirus has really brought out the good weather, hasn't it? Long may it last.
Thats not hard lockdown! Can go for walks with family !!! Wish we could!
Question Author
its too blooming cold here to be considered good weather!
It's been glorious here, at least 16C. Fabulous until some numpty over the way had a stinky bonfire at lunchtime. People in their gardens, washing out etc. Well I believe someone's 'had a word' about their thoughtlessness....and for once that wasn't me :) We need all the fresh air we can get at the moment.
