does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Hello everyone. How are you all? We are still well and surviving! Mr N is still making lists ( to do with cooking and shopping and what to do around the house!) He's happily pottering in the kitchen again. I will be huge by the time we are let loose! I wonder if I can get that meta tone in Spain. Trouble is they will think I'm asking for methadone! Although that may well do!!
Overcast here today. Our PM has said he may.loosen the quarantine strings after the 9th but guess hoping to village for a coffee will still be out of bounds!
On Netflix I'm watching some series about the Royal family. Its very good!

Lovely day and quite warm already at least out the back .Cooler at the front as it always is at this time of year when you face due east.
You should be able to get something similar Neti .It's basically an iron and vitamin tonic.
Very quiet here.Just empty buses still going past from time to time and a few cars .Nobody out and about.I looked out of the window late last night and saw a fox trotting along the road.He must have thought it safe to venture out from the old allotments at the back of the recreation ground.
I've started doing one of my jigsaws.I've done the edges so I might get it finished by Christmas.

Deep joyload and folderols I've secured a click and collect at Sainsburys for Thursday (fingers crossed it's successful). No, I'm not going on my bike, my friend over the road is going to fetch it for me. She'll pick odds and ends up for me when she goes out (she drives) but I couldn't ask anyone to bring as much as I've ordered. I can manage til then, I've got chs and srdns. It's obviously about timing when you go online, there were spaces available for Wed, Thurs and some of Friday. Within 30 minutes all Wed was gone and now they're all gone. Thank you shopping gods.

I used to take Metatone until a hospital consultant (!) told me it simply promotes your appetite/digestion and I may as well have a glass of sherry! :)

I missed Casualty last night neti because my headache turned to a raging migraine and the only thing I watched was the inside of my eyelids. I didn't know it was on early either. I'll watch later.

We have helicopters and drones spying on us but I'm not bothered. It's got so bad that I run out onto the patio and wave whenever I hear a helicopter! I have also put on a kilo! Just eat and eat as Mr N is making such delightful food!!
I enjoyed Casualty last night but Ethan is now so dull and wimpish!

jno jnr (and everyone including directors) has been asked to agree to a 10% pay cut, with a 20% cut in working hours, ie a four-day week. That's probably quite generous, under the circumstances. He says they'll still be able to pay the mortgage but they will have to be careful with spending.

He was planning to order a big Lego kit so he could pass the time building castles, but has been reminded that he has two large boxes of Lego under our bed dating back to early youth. So his new plan is to drive here at dead of night and pick them up.
