maple syrup products

does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

our bakery's only been open a few months but it's always been buzzing, three or four tills and people also buying to sit down at tables and eat as well as take home. They're become popular very quickly. Much more expensive than the thin white stuff in Tescos and doesn't last as long but I don't care, it tastes so nice.

Our local one is the same Jno.You can go in and have coffee and cake,get takeaway etc and the bread is lovely.Having worked in a bakery for a number of years I became spoilt for having good bread.
Our boss always gave the staff a fresh loaf or rolls every day to take home.It was one of the best jobs I've ever had and I've had several.I loved working there.
I think they've had to shut down the sit in and takeaway at our local one and are just concentrating on the bread and it's probably first come first served which is fair enough.
I can't hobble there and the NHS have already saved Mr S's life once. I don't want them to have to save it again so it's Iceland thick cut bloomer for now ,which actually is not too bad at all.

our branch is slosed but hoping to reopen, but there's another one a couple of miles away that's open, and that's where you pick your online order up. I don't usually go down there because it's been impossible to find parking since about 1987, but it's probably not so bad now.

Bit of sad news this evening.My brother rang to tell me my fellow bridesmaid has died.My late SiL's sister. I think I might have mentioned she was ill with cancer.Her son is totally devastated.He's the one with Prader Willi syndrome and is in a home where he has a one to one carer to look after him.Goodness knows what will happen now as he depended on her so much as her husband couldn't cope with him.Very sad and of course it'll only be a very small socially distant funeral.Just her husband, three children,and two son in laws.No grandchildren or other relatives or friends.

Thanks for your kind thoughts folks. She was such a nice person and we always had a laugh at our coffee and cake get togethers.She was the go to person for cakes if anyone had a birthday or there was a family celebration.She made a beautiful cake for my SiL's 80th.It seems such a long time ago now since we stood there shivering in our bridesmaids dresses on Christmas eve 1955.
It's been a lovely day here,very quiet though.Mr S and I had our roast lamb dinner and very nice it was too.Hope you've all had a nice Easter Sunday.Night all x

That's very sad news for you shaney. As well as having to deal with all that coronavirus has thrown at us there are many people going through dreadful personal times.

The children next door popped up over the fence and gave me a Kit Kat easter egg on Sunday. Everyday they shout to see if i'm ok and ask me if I'm lonely.
One of them said, it's ok, you've got us. They're being so sweet.

It's a bright sunny, calm Snoozeday here in crazy Derbyshire. Yesterday was very cold and blustery, what a change.
Haha, that's about right for Belper, lovely place though. They want to be careful or they might find a herd of stampeding cows heading towards them.
Well it's clear I'm now well and truly trained, even in my dream last night I looked down to see tape on the floor and had to move away from another person :)
