I've always like the Kampa Park restaurant on Kampa island next to the Charles Bridge. If you get a table near the windows (or on the balcony in Summer) there are excellent river views and is very romantic at night. They cater to a lot of tastes but if you're a fan of wild game they have a great selection in season and their seafood dishes rock. Not cheap however but if you're entertaining a lady, worth every penny ;)

Any of the restaurants on that island are terrific, and very reasonable by Irish & UK standards, but more expensive than most Prague areas.

(When you're heading towards the castle crossing the bridge, look down to your left - there are steps)

I'm easy to please and used Steak Gaucho on Wencleslas Square.
Can't agree more Archbishop, even the locals think it's the best steak in Prague.
Hot! on Wenceslas Square. Really good food, and not expensive. The decor is really nice, and the place has a good view of the busy square.
